Experienced Vs Entrepreneur

Though the title of the post should have been Experienced vs Fresher as is mostly seen by the people but i am sure i am gonna do the justice by calling fresher as the entrepreneur and sufficiently prove how is it exactly opposite and so befitting the inexperienced person.

So most of us have faced a situation in our life when we were juvenile and had lots of energy to do so much in our life. Me, you, our dad, their dad and all the upcoming  generation has or will be going through this phase. That is a very particular age somewhere around when you between 18- 26 years and build upon so many ideas and execution plan at that time. I  remember my days when i was sitting at Tilak ka dhaba at the second gate of our college along with some close friends where we came up with some idea over few cups of Tea. I still remember there was nothing wrong with the idea except one thing which was said to be impossible based upon someone’s dad’s  previous bad experience in executing it . So what happened next,  we immediately shut the door!

Second is the case, where my father was advising me upon what career direction i should head to.  and that’s quite normal in India. Infact more than being a common household spoon feeding. Thy want to see the kid going in a direction demanded by their values, demanded by the society around them, demanded by the reputation it would bring, and demanded by god knows what they call it “The experience”. I must say if it is for things other than experience, you can actually come to a negotiation with them at a mid way point, after all they have would have some impact on them depending on what you choose since we still live in India society which is closely knit. What i would protest is the enforcing up of their Experience on us. Time has changed, Environment has changed, parameters of success have changed, A lot has changed! Sorry Dad! you are and will be my hero ! forever for sure , but You need to trust you own kid , trust in his potential, trust in his Idea, Trust in his capabilities, afterall don’t you want to be seen  yourself as standing proud. Trust and belief is all I would like to seek from you, If it is about life I would like to have my own experience my own decisions, so that  like you,   I also come to know that a life hard won is “The Life”.

ImageOn the other side, when not talking about the word “experience” we have a young person full of thoughts, imagination, ready to shake the world, immense enthusiasm,Full of desires but with only one thing lagging … A little dare to take the little step to make it big. All our energy comes to a big full stop at that silly point. And that point is again marked by the experience of so many people who failed to go past the Race line overcoming the fear within themselves. Few of the reason could be that they were low on self confidence, or insufficient knowledge, or whatever may it be, they finally decided to chose the easier way and named the phenomenon as the Experience which said that things usually don’t happen so easily as you think so. We agree, Things usually do not happen the way we think it should be and that’s where we need to be creative, we need to be problem solver, a troubleshooter to make things work, to realize the alternative options we once thought of , to implement our ideas, to finally see our dream come true.

Though it takes a moment to sit after getting failed and calling it an experience for the remaining life when you can actually stand up again and find an alternative way to move forward and develop toward your ambition past the fear of failure, because in that case again you know there would be another hidden way out. That is what i would like to call a life which goes on and you ride on it being an Entrepreneur of your dreams .

A fresher is a guy who doesn’t know what doesn’t work. He has plans which he hasn’t tried implementing. if he goes with it and fails in it he would probably seem to have gain an experience . Now it depends upon him if he wants to sit back and calling it an experience that nothing can actually work, or the other way where he rises again and appropriately put effort to find if there is a shining light at any of the corner of the deep cave.He might be called foolish to even go try and waste so much of energy but again these word would come from those who dont want to achieve any big from their life or are satisfied with what they have.

All i would say is that you’ve got to Experience the Entrepreneur in you ! it can make you what you always though of your life !

Tips For Writers

Came across this fabulous piece of blog where the author tells us so many reasons to write , and so on to express our self

The Belle Jar

Write because you have something to say.

Write because you’ve always wanted to.

Write because you only just realized that you might die next week, or tomorrow, or five minutes from now, and you want to leave something behind for posterity.

Write because you have a secret fire burning inside of you and the only way that you can fan the flames is by sharing your thoughts with someone else.

Write because you’re bored and don’t have anything better to do.

Write for yourself.

Write for other someone else, or maybe everyone else.

Write because you love seeing your stats counter surge every time you post something. Write because nothing satisfies you quite so much as seeing others share what you’ve written. Write because you like the attention; there’s nothing wrong with liking the attention.

Write because it fills the emptiness in your heart or your soul or your pancreas…

…..So after the peaceful day at Bhangarh we headed to Jaipur for a night stay. We quickly sped to Polo Victory area where most of the hotels and lodges are located. After sufficient negotiation with Receptionist at various places we finally settled down at  Pink City Guest House which gave us an A/C room for 4  with Attached facilities at INR 800. We were determined not to spend a penny more than what is minimum required to spend in accommodation and things like that. They also gave our driver a small room at the cost of INR 100. He slept like a kumbhkaran after a long sleepless and continuous drive from Lucknow.

There needs to be a mention of what we had an amazing fun laughing, literally ROFLing  and watching Dinesh Karthik‘s 3 sixes in a row and then a sudden and awkward stumped out dismissal.I was desperately trying to prove the talent of this young batsman- wicket keeper and even got it almost approved when he had hit 3 sixes. But that was not my day when he got out in the most silly way one can. I don’t want to say anything more .. you can witness the fool yourself !

Beware … you are going to watch something which can lead to uncontrollable laugh riots which may lead you to death . I hereby, take no responsibility of any kind of mis-happening in any case.

We almost died the last night laughing, rolling and falling from the bed . Never would i attempt to bet so high on Dinesh, the awesome again. that’s for sure !

Anyways, talking about our trip we could not avoid paying a visit to Amer Quila also , because of the extra time we had. Although it was never in our plan to visit such place but we thought to reconsider it because we knew nobody among us will gonna come this far again. To our amazement, specially mine who had always seen Amber in the day light, the fort looked splendid in the night with a beautiful and pleasant light show spreading upon its huge walls.

Day 2 : So the next day we headed  for the place I have always been dreaming about for the last 4 years. The Sambhar Lake.  I always get mesmerized thinking about the vast plains the site offers us to walk, run, drive as fast as you can, listen to your favourite song, just lie down and think or  do whatever you want. The place is a huge piece of land with nothing but just salt. An amazing view of Sambhar Salt plains  awaits you when you go 80 kms after taking a right turn under the flyover at Dudu on Jaipur- Ajmer Highway. This place won’t ever disappoint you . Never !!

It was nevertheless , one hell of a day i always thought of spending at place like Sambhar . Next time i plan to go out there on my own vehicle so that i can also do some test drive as they show in every car advertisement on TV.

At last while clicking all the beautiful pics around the lake … our dear pathak ji came up with some splendid snaps of silhoutte on the railways tracks . I love them so much !

OUR  AMAZING JOURNEY

BOLTED IN !!!

… to be continued in next part !

A trip to the land of sands

Soon, a lots of people were going to gather at the campus for Varchasva ’12, the sports and cultural fest of Hell.  A lots of girl, glamour and bullshit was going to get over the crowd in the coming couple of days. Folks were busy practicing for their sports , some were busy setting up meeting for the dignitaries coming up at the fest. A lot were busy handing a hell lot of other activities.  But there was something else going on in Room No. 1409. Niket and me were trying hard to fix a plan for our long trip from lucknow to Tanot mata. Tanot mata is a temple at Rajasthan– Pakistan border which is of high significance to the soldiers  posted at Longewala Post.  We were although excited only to think about a trip itself to  culturally rich Rajasthan and a chance to see the dunes for the first time. None of us ,even me who is from Rajasthan, has ever in their life seen the sand dunes.

We spent a whole lot of time planning to go only to the off beat places of rajasthan . No! certainly we had no interest in the alleys of Jaipur or the Nahargarh or the tourist laden City Palace. We tried to chose all those places which are either  less frequented by the tourists or have something unusual about it.

I hope you will like all the places we covered. Below is how we did it !

Day 1 : Shakti bhaiya sent us an old Tata  Indica, which was more or less giving the same look like a new one. Anyways it doesn’t matter, that was one of the lowest fare vehicle we people could afford for  such a long trip. The driver, although not only looked jolly but had a full flavor of “bhaiya” ness of U.P.  We started off at 2 in the noon. It was a good feeling to think about that we were gonna see a lot on this journey. This could be a journey we have always wanted. While on our way, we got a good news about our Short film winning a prize at XIMB Film Festival which  was an icing on the cake because we were going to get the cash prize in return which could probably be added to the budget of expenses we had decided for the trip.

Our Cab guy had a few problems in Kanpur trying to evade the Traffic police guys who if strolling on highways don’t have work other than asking for the “papers” of Gaadi. We got fix for a 1000 Bucks but we were allowed to move. We Passed Etawah, Firozabad, Agra, at the late night. We even got lost while bypassing Agra. There was no one who we could ask for our way to go to the NH. At a small trijunction, while looking for our way around, we came across a Sign board telling us the way for a place with a hillarious name ” Bitch puri”. We, the quick witted gang also came up with a quick slogan for the place ” Na aadhi na adhuri yahaan milti hai Bitch puri”.

A place called Bitchpuri
A place called Bitchpuri

Our First destination of the  plan was Bhangarh. After riding whole night and passing through the U.P. rajasthan border we were almost somewhere near Dausa in Rajasthan when our driver suggested a detour for Mehndipur Balaji Temple. Although we all heard about the place and knew some facts about it but were quite obnoxious about visiting it. But since we were on long vacation and had a lot of free time, we decided to give it a shot. Indeed that place was hell of crazy place. All type of  menand women having superstitious belief in god and its power could be seen there standing in a queue waiting for their chance to be treated by their God Balaji. Not to forget, this was 4 O’ clock in the night. It was certainly not a place for us.

We felt despair in their hopefulness
We felt despair in their hopefulness

Starting again , we reached some  few miles before Bhangarh.  So Before we actually moved into this Scariest place of India, we got a little break to stretch out our legs, pee out a lot and do a little photoshoot which usually was a moment of randomness.

They though they were going to get a good pic with the background for their FB cover photo

So finally came the Bhangarh, featured in Discovery channel’s Top 30 Scary places in the world. Although we didn’t find any thing scary about the place but instead felt it as a pleasant site to have a day out.

A Shopkeeper, when asked if there is really any ghost in there, replied ” kya bhoot wagairah aayenge jahaan aadmi hi duniya ka sabse bada bhoot hai” was an amazing quote of the day we started off with our fort visit. To us, the fort was something e never expected. A beautiful meadow, well maintained, neat and clean and a small temple at the entrance. Although it was a ruined fort , but gave an appearance of being a mighty wall in the past.

So , after a long tiring night travelling and the day in the sun at Bhangarh we finally decided to get a night spent in jaipur relaxing and preparing for the next few exciting days to come.

To be continued here

Lord Huron, Irani Chai and Hyderabad

There has been so much happening in my life lately, and i am just acting as a stupid lazy ass not to write it down timely. And thus  getting them out of memory as they are passing away with time.

So this was just one day .. i was  thinking to jot  it down immediately when i get some new , all together different feeling, or amazing  kind of experience.

When i came to Hyderabad from lucknow, all i was thinking was about the special Biryani which i knew differs from the already tasted lucknow’s wahid biryani , of which i had been a fan of for the last two years. Even the waiter at wahid knew , what would i take , whenever i reach there and sat down on the second table on the left. But, No !! it’s not about the biryani i am going to talk .  I have already devoted a special space for it in my earlier blog. This particular affection is for three things i am going crazy about theses days which are trying to grab my mind out of everything which can try to pull me up . Okay, you guessed it right from the Title of this post. But let me explain how that can amaze  you too !!

English: Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani

Lord Huron: Of Lately, one of the finest band from U.S. that i have listen to . When i listen to them , i can shamelessly say that i don’t understand the accent in which way they sing but i can surely feel the vibes. The jingling , the musical note, the freshness in vocals  all make you so happy and energizing  that you could actually be dancing to their tunes. Below is one of their song from album lonesome dreams. I am sure you will get it what i’ve been feeling all these days thorugh listening them.

Irani Chai : An INR 10 delight in any neighbourhood restaurant in Hyderabad. So perfectly cooked, perfectly added sugar, an apt amount of milk in it and some special ingredients which i have been trying to still figure out in my own way by asking the tea  maker at these restaurants. All i know is that i have got addicted to it right from the first day i have it when i landed in secunderabad early in the morning and had a sip of it with osmania Biscuit. My friend, recommends me to go to Nimrah cafe  at charminar which he says serves the best Irani Chai in the old city. I am just waiting for the time to let me go there once . I am dying to take a sip of it!

and finally Hyderabad : Hyderabad is some place which i suppose can take the place of Lucknow if i get a chance to solo travel it. It’s a city bustling with all the ingredient i ever liked. A perfect blend of food, places to go around, and highly rich culture. A thing which is highly turning me on is the use of Hindi language by the Hyderabadi People. Everytime i hear a Hyderabadi person speaking Hindi, i just learn that he should be innocent. A distorted grammar in own peculiar way is something creates an amazing thing to listen to.

Music, Running and Happiness

I am happy these days. Enjoying every moment. If i Put it better, i am able to see the beauty in everything i see and feel. And this is not because i am doing great at my studies, or made a girl friend but because i found a few different things altogether.

It was when i went to Goa last year to attend the Famous Music Festival “Sunburn” held annually just before the New year eve that i learned that there is some thing deeper about music. May be that’s why lots of people aren’t there simply for fun and party. Some of them, mostly foreigners i guess were there to be lost in the trust they had in the music of trance. We could see them dancing the whole day and night and that too alone. Looked like they were in parallel universe. I was first introduced to this particular genre of music there only. I got fascinated by it almost suddenly. May be because i was seeing others dancing madly to it or because i was really feeling it. Whatever  is the reason but when i went back to my place i searched a whole lot of info and downloaded a plethora of Electro, Trance, and house songs. Now if someone ask me what songs do I have in my mp3 player, they are disappointed to see a whole list of Psychedelic and  Electro stuff. But to me, this particular genre has taken me to a different level ,it has ignited a spot in my mind where i feel so much energetic, Enthusiastic, and strong within. If not saying too much , at least it lets me Break Free.

@ Curlie’s , Anjuna Beach, Goa

Another thing which is subsequent to my listening of music is that i have brought up a healthy habit of running. Running is one such thing which is giving me ultimate pleasure these days. The moment when you are tired after running 5-6 miles and you are thinking nothing but just putting one step after another is the same feeling, i guess, comes when we meditate and are in a deep corner of the Dhyan. Running is not actually a thing to be practice daily, it’s more of a thing to be felt. As Helen Keller said” The Best and the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” The experience of bliss while running is one of them.

I feel i am addicted to it now . The Music and the Running.

and when one does something which makes one happy, one does not necessarily sit to dissect the source of happiness. There is no need. I feel great every time i finish a run and that is reason enough to go out again the next day and the next. Same is with the kind of music i am listening these days.

A Morning

Dj - Sesto Sento (2)
Dj – Sesto Sento (2) (Photo credit: Beto Vilela)

Over the last few days i have been trying to get myself into a habit of running daily in the morning before the sun actually rise. And not to my amazement, I have been doing it pretty good. But  today, the fifth day it was an another day. A misty morning with breezing drizzle. The perfect day to Run. I loaded few Techno songs most of which were Astral Projection, Sesto Sento in my phone ( I got no ipod 😦 ). I believe they make a perfect running songs. But While i was running and have been tired a bit i was remembering the quote from Dean karnazes (A Badwater Ultramarthon Runner in death valley)

“All you have to do is put one foot in front of the other, and you are doing it.”

So much inspiring were the above lines for me that i did the impossible a possible today. Earlier, i used to stop where i think my body can’t support running anymore. Now but with a headphones over my ears and the right music playing at the moment i ran the race “needed in my life”. A long lost passion inside me today came out looking from a distance up in the sky and smiling that i could sense it again. I could see it.

So when i was heading back to my room in my hostel i don’t know why but my legs pulled me to the top of the building at the terrace. May be they just wanted me to show me something more. And there i was standing at the top  just under the dripping clouds, a cool swift wind blowing past my hairs. I found out i was smiling for no reason. I saw the water tank which was rising up and reaching even higher.I Pulled up my sleeves , tightened up my shoes laces and starting climbing up the wall. A few jumps over the walls and then there i  was standing at the top of it.

When I saw around I felt i need to sit there atleast for one or more hour. The kind of scenery i was looking at was the one i cherished  for quite a sometime. The heavy clouds all over the horizon  encircling the huge surrounding covered by green Trees freshened by the morning rains was the perfect scene i was looking at. And above all the post rock music from the band sleepmakeswaves was embracing the whole mentally me. It was the moment that was buried deep inside me and it has come to me after such a long time .All I could feel I was really living the me I ever wanted to be. I wish mornings of this type should come again and again which keep pushing me to realize the inner me
